Right from the start, Madrid Science Park (Fundación Parque Científico de Madrid -FPCM) has been a place that seeks to boost the development and adoption of new technologies. Since 2001, Madrid Science Park has not stopped supporting new innovative technology-based business projects developed by innovative companies, technology entrepreneurs driven by teams with innovative business models, and technology that has been transferred or licensed by entities/research groups, for which protection and technical validation is feasible.

In these 20 years, 40% of the 300+ projects that have passed through its facilities have been oriented towards the development of ICT technology projects designed to digitalise processes and activities in SMEs, so as to boost their improvement and competitiveness. Digitalisation projects backed by the entity, with an impact on sectors related to area 2 of the region’s RIS3, which constitute a shared success due to our support of their growth strategy, whether it involves searching for profiles, technology partners, sales representatives, funding, communication and networking.
